FABO launched in 2009 as a traveling gallery where we would bring the art to home parties. Our artist roster has grown rapidly as we consistently seek out new talent. We take great pride in our diverse and ever-changing art inventory.
Our unique way of doing things means we welcome any artist interested in selling their work. If it sells, they stay — if it doesn’t, then this isn’t the right home for them. Prior to teaming up with FABO, many of our best-selling artists only sold their work to friends who were lucky enough to know about them. Now, artwork from FABO’s artists can be found in homes throughout Charlotte.
FABO’s lower price point means you can buy a piece of original artwork made by a local artist for the same price as a print from a big retailer…so we say BUY ORIGINAL ART! Most of our work is under $1,000, with jewelry starting at $5, pottery at $8 and paintings at $40.
After our success with home shows, we decided to open our retail location so more people could experience the superb artwork Charlotte has to offer. We envisioned a comfortable place for people to relax, hang out and enjoy the work, so we incorporated coffee and goodies. We still host home parties, so if you are interested please fill out a form!
Our coffee bar features coffee, espresso and tea along with mouthwatering goodies. Local chefs create delightful treats for any appetite, at any time of the day. For the morning we have muffins and scones and for an afternoon pick-me-up we offer sweets including cupcakes, cookies, cake slices, brownies and Petit Fours.
Find the perfect gift at FABO. We offer special gifts around different occasions. For example, right before the holidays, and at the end of the school year we offer teacher gifts of cookies or brownies that you can pre-order and pick up! We also accept corporate commissions, such as recognition awards and personalized gifts.
